In the early morning hours of Sunday May 19th 2019, Coley King James was taken from this world to be with the Lord. His time here with us was too short. He was only 17. Not many knew Coley as he truly was. To most he was quiet and kept to himself. But, to those of us who knew and loved him, he was so special beyond compare. He was kind, tender, laid -back, relaxed, funny, intelligent, cunning, brazen, loyal, stubborn, loving, patient, beautiful, and good at anything he wanted to do. He loved riding his dirt bike alongside his big brother. Great sadness feels my heart when I think of the things he will never have the chance to experience and of his baby girl Gracie that will never truly know him as I did. It is only through faith that this loss is bearable trusting in God's divine plan of salvation. Mourning his departure are his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Vickie Bowman; his brother, Devin Poindexter; his parents, Jimmie James and Brandy Bowman; as well as the Bowman family and extended family and friends. There will not be a service or viewing. Condolences may be sent to the grandparents, Wayne and Vickie, and brother Devin, at 177 Bowman Road in Ararat, NC or to the mother, Brandy at 124 Arthur Dr. Thomasville, NC.
