Conley Lee Umstead

Mr. Conley Lee Umstead, born April 29, 1958, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was a devoted son, cherished brother, and beloved uncle. The only thing Conley loved more than UNC basketball was his family, of whom he was immensely proud. He was a lifelong resident of Mount Airy. His quick wit and tender heart will be carried forever within every person who was lucky enough to know him. He is survived by his brother, Kevin Umstead (Pamela); his nephews, Sean Umstead and Peter Umstead; and his niece, Jennifer Bright. No service is planned at this time. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
