Craig Scott Tesh, II

Mr. Craig Scott Tesh, II, age 50 of Mount Airy, NC passed away after a lifetime battle with spina bifida on Monday afternoon October 30, 2023, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Scott was born April 22, 1973, in Surry County to Sharon Kay Lee Davis and the late Craig Scott Tesh.  He was a jack of all trades doing what he loved.  He had a passion for nature, especially “his” deer.  He would often say that he had to protect his deer from the coyotes.  If it said Caterpillar on the side of it, he wanted to operate it.  Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Sharon Kay Lee Davis; brothers, John Davis and Mark Davis; stepmother, Jane Culler Tesh; several aunts and uncles; and several cousins.  In addition to his father, Scott was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ed Buster Davis; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Hazel Lowe; and his paternal grandparents, Bill and Sue Tesh.  Graveside services will be held on Friday November 3, 2023, at 2:00pm in the Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Rob Sizemore and Mr. Lonnie Bateman, Jr. officiating.  There will not be any formal visitation at the funeral home.
