Mr. Darren “Bubba” Jordan, age 49, of Stuart, Virginia, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. He was born in Harlan County, Kentucky, on January 20, 1977. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Jordan; paternal grandparents, Bert Jordan, Sr., and Marrie Allen Jordan; maternal grandparents, Glen Graves and Demeter Kiurski; special friend, Mike Midkiff; and best friend, John Petty. Darren graduated from Patrick County High School in 1996. A genuine soul who loved playing pool and had a fondness for old cars, Darren was always just a phone call away for anyone in need. Devoted and selfless, he put others before himself and cherished his nieces deeply. Known as a mama's boy through and through, his heart also held a special place for his beloved dog, Haze, who preceded him in passing. Darren’s warmth and kindness will be truly missed.

Left to cherish the memories of Darren are his mother Joy Jordan; three siblings, Brittany Pack (Joshua Bowman), Aaron Jordan, and Travis Jordan (Stacie); five nieces, Delia Jordan, Caitlyn Moore, Addison Bowman, Brystol Bowman, and Chloe Bowman; three nephews, Cole Coffey, Taylor Jordan, and Gaberiel Jordan; maternal grandmother, Betty Kiurski; aunt, Charlene Baker; two uncles, Ronnie Jordan (Rosalie) and Bert Jordan; three cousins, Mitchell VanTassell, Christopher Baker, and Jeremy Baker; and special friends, Porkchop Hall, Clyde Agee, Jody Agee, and Matt DeHart.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at New Beginning Church on Dobyns Road in Stuart, with Pastor Dewayne Trout officiating.
