David Randall Chilton

Mr. David Randall Chilton, age 48 of Siloam, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at his home. Mr. Chilton was born in Forsyth County on March 5, 1976, to the late Herbert and Dotty Bruner Chilton. David was a graduate of Surry Central High School. He grew up in and was a member of Pine Hill Church. David enjoyed farming, driving tractors and forklifts, listening to gospel music – especially the Vessels of Clay, and was a big fan of the Duke Blue Devils. He worked for several years for Lowes Home Improvement in Mount Airy and made many lifelong friends. David is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will dearly miss him. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Pine Hill Church Cemetery with Pastor Mark Mayes and Pastor Dale Johnson officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
