David Harrison Bowman

Mr. David Harrison Bowman, 53, of Mt. Airy passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at his home.  He was born in Forsyth County on November 17, 1969, to the late Harry “Columbus” Bowman and Vela Boles Hiatt.  Mr. Bowman was a self-employed welder.  He is survived by a daughter, Nicole Bowman and Dustin Haden; a son, Christopher Adkins; grandchildren, Raelynn Haden, and Kolton Haden; his girlfriend, Susie Bowman; his stepmother, Linda Bowman; sisters, Diane Tilley, and Sharon Blake; brothers, James Bowman, and Tommy Bowman; nieces and nephews, Lauryn Bowman, Emily Blake, Abbie Blake, Mikenzie Adkins, Andrew Gregory; a special friend, Tina Adkins.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by a grandchild, Carson Haden; sisters, Penny Wallace, and Jennifer Luffman; a brother, Mike Wallace; a nephew, Cody Bowman.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 19, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Beck officiating.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
