David Neal Marshall

Mr. David Neal Marshall, age 57 of Stuart, Virginia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. He was born in Mount Airy, North Carolina on April 21, 1969, to the late Henry Layton Marshall and Lorine Mabe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Riley Marshall; one grandson, William Turner; the mother of his sons, Lisa Woods Grona; and one sister-in-law, Mary Marshall.

David was a hardworking man; be it hauling something in a truck or working the farm; he could be found putting in the hard work. He was a very intelligent man and could do anything he set his mind to. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his family and friends.

Left to cherish the memories of David Marshall are his son, Reece (Beth) Marshall of Tobaccoville, NC; his beloved companion, Bonnie Roberts of the home; two daughters, Ashley (James) Turner Nelson of Danbury, NC, and Amber Niday of Charlotte, NC; two grandsons, Joseph Turner and Papaw’s little buddy, Ryley Nelson; brother, Danny Marshall of Mt. Airy, NC; sister Lisa (Michael) Padgett of Independence, VA; grandmother-in-law, Theresa Goins of Tobaccoville, NC; and a host of other family members and dear friends.
