David Lawrence Offenbacker

Mr. David Lawrence Offenbacker, age 64 of Meadows of Dan, VA passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Carilion New River Valley Hospital in Christiansburg VA. He was born on July 21, 1961 in Annapolis, MD to the late Leeroy Offenbacker and Francis Normile Offenbacker.

He was of the Christian faith who loved his family and grandchildren. He was a carpenter by trade, and a musician, singer, and a wonderful storyteller. He loved doing good and seeing good in the world.

He is survived by his wife of nine years, Lisa Marie Miller; two daughters, Jessica Offenbacker and Samantha Scanlon; two step-sons Izzy Miller and Ben Miller; a loving grandfather to Sadie May Miller, Leland Cecil, Evelyn Grace, and River Persinger; two brothers, Robert Offenbacker, and Jamie Offenbach.
