Miss Dawn Michelle Thompson age 35 of 150 Shoals Road, Apt. #1, Pinnacle, NC passed away Thursday morning, August 24, 2006 at her home. She was born August 12, 1971 in Dayton, Ohio to Randol Thompson and Patricia Norman Atkins. She was a herdsman and attended Holly Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her mother and friend, Patricia Norman Atkins and Kenneth Payne, Sparta, NC, her father and step mother, , Randol and Mary Thompson, Carlisle, OH, two brothers and sisters-in-laws, (Twin) David M. and Michelle Thompson, Science Hill, KY, Mark and Melissa Thompson, Eubank, KY, grandmother, Hettie Thompson, Eubank, KY, a several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Holly Grove Baptist Church at conducted by Rev. Tommy Vass and Rev. Woody Flippen. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:30 PM Sunday until time of the service at Holly Grove Baptist Church and other times at the home of Sam and Addis Bryant, 754 York Thicket Road, Lambsburg, VA .
