Deborah Kay Sumner Bridges

Mrs. Deborah Kay Sumner Bridges, 66, of Mount Airy, North Carolina passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Born September 28, 1958, to the late George L. Sumner and Colleen Edwards Hiatt. Deborah was a pistol, you never had to guess what was on her mind. She was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. She had a gift for lifting up others and will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Left to cherish her memory are her siblings and in-laws, George L. Sumner Jr. (Bug), Michael and Janice Sumner, Tommy Sumner, Donna Brown, and Brandy and Timothy Dowdy; as well as a very special niece, Stormy Sumner. A private graveside service will be held at Midkiff Family Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, NC is serving the Bridges family.
