Ms. Deborah Ann Caudle Dean, age 68 of Mount Airy, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Surry County, January 13, 1958, to the late Fred Samuel Caudle, Sr. and Patricia Mae Hiatt Caudle. Ms. Dean retired from the Child Care Industry after many years of dedicated and loving service. Deborah was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Dean and Amanda; two grandchildren whom she adored, Weston Dean and Morgan Dean; a sister, Sharon Caudle McHone; four brothers, Fred Samuel Caudle, Jr. and Debra, Anthony Wayne Caudle and Vickie, Kenneth Caudle and Margaret, Darrell Caudle; along with several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Mr. J.C. Haymore officiating. Interment will follow in the William Hiatt Family Cemetery in Mount Airy. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Moody Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
