Deborah York Eldridge

 Ms. Toni Deborah York Eldridge, age 74, of Dobson, NC passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Surry County, May 26, 1950, the daughter of the late Thomas Arthur and Coble Stanley York. Ms. Eldridge graduated from Mount Airy High School in 1968 and retired from Surry Community College after many years of service. Surviving are two daughters, Leah Taylor (Jim), and Laura Shoemaker; grandchildren, Devon Singleton and David Taylor; great granddaughter, Laylah Singleton; brother, Nicky York (Debbie); niece, Leslie York Mills. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Chris Fleming officiating. The Eldridge family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017. Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy is serving the Eldridge family.
