Deborah Rene Bowman

Mrs. Deborah Rene Bowman, age 61, of Ararat, Virginia, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus at her residence on Monday, September 21, 2026. She was born on November 25, 1964, in Surry County, to Mary Faye Money Boyles and the late Roger Boyles. Mrs. Bowman was a loving wife, mother, nana, as her grandkids called her, and sibling, will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family and most importantly her 5 grandbabies were everything to her. Mrs. Bowman was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church for many years. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Danny Bowman; daughter and son-in-law, Emily Corbett and Lee; son and daughter-in-law, Dustin Bowman and Josie; grandchildren, Aliyah Corbett, Eli Corbett, Levi Corbett, Alivia Corbett, Atlas Bowman; mother, Mary Faye Boyles; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy Hicks and Lloyd; sister-in-law, Carlene and Trent Lyons; brother-in-law, Tracy and Lori Bowman; several nieces and nephews; mother and father-in-law, Elza and JD Bowman. A funeral service to honor Mrs. Bowman’s life will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Trent Lyons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM until time of the service.
