Deborah Paige Whitfield

Mrs. Deborah Paige Whitfield, age 74 of Ararat, North Carolina, passed away on May 12, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Whitfield was born on May 1, 1951, in Guilford County to the late Euliss Conrad and Margaret Juanita Johnson Whitfield. Mrs. Whitfield was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon Flippin Simmons and Bradley; grandchild, Ryan Simmons and Jade Anders; fur baby, Simon; and her fur grandbaby, Zeus. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitfield was preceded by her husband, Billy Shropshire. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, P.O. Box 325, Dobson, North Carolina 27017-0325 Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
