Dennis Lynn Chambers

Mr. Dennis Lynn Chambers, 63, of Ararat passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice after a brief illness. Mr. Chambers was a diesel mechanic for Ryder Trucking and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Troxler Chambers, of the home; his mother and step-father, Pat Chambers Clark and Richard, of Orlando, Florida; two sons, Denny Chambers of Yadkinville and Klint Urshel, of Stoneville; one step-daughter, Krystal Grogan of Stoneville; three step-sons, Carton Coleman of California, Charles Wayne Grogan, of Sandy Ridge and James Grogan, Jr. of Greensboro; eleven grandchildren; three sisters, Cindy, Terrie and Cheryl, all of Orlando Florida and a brother, Ricky Richardson of Madison. Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by one son Chris Chambers The family will hold a memorial service at 2 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Oak Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Alton Bledsoe with burial to follow the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1 pm until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dennis Chamber Funeral Fund c/o Moody-Davis Funeral Home, PO Box 295 Dobson, NC 27017 to assist with final expenses.
