Diane Goins Arnder

Mrs. Diane Goins Arnder, age 73, of Dobson, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born August 18, 1952, in Forsyth County. Mrs. Arnder was a homemaker, a loving wife and mother who loved all her extended family and friends. She also was an excellent cook and many charities benefited from her kindness. Diane was also known as a lover and advocate for animals and all people as well.

Mrs. Arnder was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Hattie Davis, her daughter, Tina Cartrette; and her sister Patricia Dyer Wall. Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband, Jerry Dale Arnder; a special niece and her husband, Sherri and C. Gray Hodge Jr.; great niece and her husband, Meagan Hodge Goins and Ryan; great nephew John Logan Hodge; and several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A graveside service will follow on Thursday, December 18, at 2:00 PM in the Dobson City Cemetery with Dr. Brian Chilton of Mountain Valley Hospice officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 325, Dobson NC 27017, or to the NC Baptist Men Association Wheelchair Ramp Ministry, PO Box 1107, Cary NC 27512. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Arnder family.
