Donald Lee Lovill, Jr.

Mr. Donald Lee Lovill, Jr., 50, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at his home.  Mr. Lovill was born October 25, 1969, in Surry County, the son of Helen E. Gordon and the late Donald Lee Lovill, Sr.  He was a supervisor of injection molding.  Donnie was of the Baptist faith and was saved under the leadership of the Rev. Johnny Johnson at Pine Ridge Baptist Church.  Surviving are his wife, Wanda Jacqueline “Jackie” Phillips Lovill; a son, Dylan Lee Lovill; his parents, Helen E. and Doug Gordon; a sister and brother-in-law, Donette and Chris Sykes; stepsiblings, Jeni Gordon, Michael Gordon, and Lisa Ballantine; and two nephews, Brad Roberson and Dusty Roberson.  Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), a private service will be held at a later date.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Lovill family.
