Donald Ray Smith

Mr. Donald Ray Smith, 76, of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  He was born in Surry County on May 17, 1946.  He retired from Surry County Landfill after many years of service.  Mr. Smith was a quiet man that loved his family.  He is survived by his stepson, Thomas Yonts.  Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Smith; his parents, Algie E.
