Donna Atkins

Mrs. Donna Elliott Atkins, age 58, of King, NC passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, at the Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Atkins was born in Forsyth County, July 31, 1960, the daughter of Gene and Patsy Whitlock Elliott. Mrs. Atkins graduated from East Forsyth High School, and worked for Pepsi, Inc. She was a member of New Home Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband of 23 years, James Atkins, of the home; her very special pet,“Molly”; her parents, Warren Eugene and Revetta Whitlock Elliott; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Ronda and Fuzzy Davis, Natoshia James and Mickey Ferguson, her brother, Clifford Elliott and special friend, Stephanie Steinbach and husband, Joe Steinbach . She was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Elliott, and her mother-in-law, Sylvia Simpson Atkins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 12:00 PM at New Home Church of Christ with Brother Tim Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 until 12:00 PM.
