Frances (Shore) Boles

Mrs. Frances Shore Boles, age 77 of Pilot Mountain, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Boles was born in Davie County on November 14, 1947, to the late James Ray and Mozelle Leona Casstevens Shore. Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a faithful member of Simmons Grove Baptist Church and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Jason Leon Boles; daughter and son-in-law, Donna Boles Marion and Johnny; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley Jason Boles and Cindy, Brian James Boles, Michael Leon Boles and Sherry; thirteen grandchildren, Jackson Boles (Elizabeth Bost), Andrew Boles, Anna Hutchens (Rodney), Jeremy Boles (Tava), Tiffany Scott (Daniel), Cortlan Marion (Caroline), Alisonne Crossingham, Cristian Marion (Madison), Harley Marion, Noah Boles, Issic Boles (Faith) Naomi Boles, Sarah Boles; twelve great-grandchildren, McKenzie Boles, Logan Hutchens, Liam Boles, Calvin Marion, Colton Marion, Jasper Crossingham, Scout Crossingham, Mia Marion, Lora Marion, Nora Marion, McKayla Boles, Sadie Boles, Owen Hutchens (due in May), Baby Boy Boles (due September); a brother and sister-in-law, James Roger Shore and Janet; along with several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Boles was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church in Mount Airy with Reverend Randy Edwards and Brother Chris Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Simmons Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church in Mount Airy from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care for the support provided to Mrs. Boles and her family.
