Mr. Dorsey Wayne Rucker, age 61, of Cana ,passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born on July 8, 1962 in Dickson County, Tennessee to June Climer Rucker and the late Raymond Rucker. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will surely be missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Josephine Chappell Rucker; daughters, Jessica Hiatt (Travis), Erin Guynn; grandchildren, Lillian, Jasper, Journey, Tobias, and Sebastian Hiatt, Cherokee, and Diamond Guynn; sister, Karen Barnhill; brother, Raymond Rucker (Angela); mother, June Climer; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Rucker was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Rucker. A private service will be held at a later date.
