Dortha Jane Hanna Talbert

Mrs. Dortha Jane Hanna Talbert, age 92, of Lowgap, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 6, 1933, in Nicholas County, West Virginia to the late Daniel and Euva Alice Collins Hanna. She retired from Johnson Rubber Company in Middlefield, OH. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, and sons-in-law, Nora Jane and Paul Woods, Pamela Lynn and Kim Brandhorst, Rondalyn Sue Blair, and Sheryl Lavonne Shookman; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith Pauline Harrison, Nelma Jean Phillips; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Talbert was preceded in death by her husband, Debert Stanley Talbert; son, Dallas Stanley Talbert; sisters, Ada Lucille Harker, Vada Marie Taylor, Vera Lenora Harker, Martha Deloris Plant, Delma June Strader, and Clara Helen Martin; brother, Theodore Richard Hanna. There will be no formal services at the funeral home at this time.
