Dwayne Stewart Hiatt

Mr. Dwayne Stewart “Pinto” Hiatt, 61, of Ararat, VA, passed away early Monday morning, May 13, 2024, at the SECU Hospice Center in Yadkinville. Mr. Hiatt was born February 24, 1963, in Forsyth County, the son of Marvin Lloyd Hiatt and the late Jacqueline Inscore Hiatt. Pinto was a self-employed orchardist for many years. He is survived by his father, Marvin Lloyd Hiatt; and two aunts, Linda Inscore and Libby Shaw. In addition to his mother, Mr. Hiatt was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Mountain View Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Scotty Bullins officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, P.O. 325, Dobson, NC 27017.
