Dwight David Bowman

Mr. Dwight David Bowman, age 70, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at his home.  He was born on June 8, 1953 in Surry county to the late Harvey and Annie Johnson Bowman.  Left to cherish his memory are a daughter and son-in-law, Sabrina Pate (James); son, Lance Bowman; grandchild, Gracie Pate; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol Jessup (Davis), Pam Jarrell (Bill); sister-in-law, Imogene Bowman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by a brother, Buck Bowman.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Rev. Ricky Rogers and Rev. Tracey Collins.  Burial will follow in the Collinstown Presbyterian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
