Earl Samuel "Sammy" Monday, II

Mr. Earl Samuel “Sammy” Monday, II, age 50 formally of Mount Airy passed away on December 27, 2021. Mr. Monday was born September 5, 1971, in Franklin County, North Carolina to the late Earl Samuel Monday and Mary Linda Sawyers Monday Dollyhigh. Sammy was a professional billiard player who traveled the country playing in tournaments and became one of the top players in the Southeast during his prime. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Surviving are two sisters two brothers, April Holderfield and husband Greg, Brandi Watts and husband John, Jeff Monday and wife Denise, Mitchell Monday; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great nephews. The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date. Moody Funeral Services of Mount Airy is serving the family.
