Early Wise Bowman

Mr. Early Wise Bowman, 78, of Mt. Airy passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at his home. He was born in Patrick County, VA on May 20, 1935 to the late Hobart and Ruth "Renie" Niten Bowman. Mr. Bowman was retired from D and H Railroad and was a member of First Reform Church in NY. He is survived by his wife, Harriet Larucci Bowman of the home; Daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and David Bone, Florance Bowman all of NY, Nancy Jean Bowman, Elizabeth Bowman both of Mt. Airy, Janet and Charles Crandall, Daniele Reinenann all of Pilot Mountain; Son, Early Thomas Bowman of NY; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beatrice and Claude Miles, Frances and Junior Payne, Jean Horton, Evelyn Donathan all of Mt. Airy, Earline Smoke of FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Dolly Bowman of FL, Ralph and Karen Bowman of Pilot Mountain, Benny Bowman, Harry Bowman, Glen Bowman all of Mt. Airy; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Edward and Charles Dean Bowman. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date.
