Eddie Alfred Haynes

Mr. Eddie Alfred Haynes age 57 of 548 Blossom View Road, Ararat, VA, husband of Jewel Bowman Haynes, passed away at his home on Sunday, July 30, 2006. Mr. Haynes was born in County on July 9, 1949 to Vallie Hall Haynes and the late George Alfred Haynes. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. Surviving are his wife, Jewel Bowman Haynes of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Gerold Pack of Ararat, VA; three grandchildren, Robert Pack, Aaron Pack, Isaac Pack and one expecting grandchild; his mother, Vallie Hall Haynes of Ararat, VA and by two brothers and sister-in-law, Roger and Debbie Haynes of Ararat, VA and Sammie Haynes of Ararat, VA and a special nephew Austin McGrady. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Michael Sutphin with burial to follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Monday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and also at his home, 548 Blossom View Road, Ararat, VA.
