Edsel Fonzo Leftwich

Mr. Edsel Fonzo Leftwich, 81, of Cana, VA, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Twin County Regional Hospital.  He was born in Carroll County, Virginia, February 12, 1939 to the late Dexter Andrew and Grady Marie Marion Leftwich.  He is survived by his wife, Margie Carolyn “Carol” Haynes Leftwich; his daughter, Lorene Marie Sisk; a sister, Vineda Fay Edwards; nieces and nephews, Nathan Edwards, Vineda Combs, Hannah McMillian, Greta Dellenback and Michael Leftwich.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Leftwich was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Everett and Mary Lue Leftwich, and Ennis Leftwich; and a brother-in-law, Marvin Edwards.  Respecting the current limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), the family will be conducting a private memorial service.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
