Mrs. Elizabeth Heath Wilburn, 75, of Mount Airy, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 23, 2008, at her home. Mrs. Wilburn was born October 6, 1932, in Raleigh County, WV, to Charles and Dora Smith Heath. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and an active member of Northside Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Billy Reece, Brenda and Roy Ayers, Frankie and Michael Lane, and Ellen and Stanley Sechrist, all of Mount Airy; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Wilburn and Willie Wilburn, Jr. and Donna Wilburn, all of Mount Airy; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Martha Randolph of Salem, OH, Janie and Carlos Cooper of South Charleston, OH, Lucille Lingle of Hickory, and Edith Bennett of Cleveland, OH; and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Charles Heath, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Frank and Darlene Heath of Trinity, AL, and Ronnie and Alice Heath of Rutland, OH. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilburn was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Willie Will Wilburn, Sr.; two sisters, Phyllis Scritchfield and Lorraine Ransom; and a brother, Raymond Heath. The funeral service will be held Monday, May 26, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Northside Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Dean Eaton, the Rev. Charles Vogler, and the Rev. Howard Wilburn. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the church.
