Ellen Louise Chrismon Stanley

Mrs. Ellen Louise Chrismon Stanley, age 80, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Care in Yadkinville. She was born November 14, 1944, in Guilford County to the late Carl Richard Chrismon and the late Manervia Atkins Chrismon.

Mrs. Stanley was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who worked for 41 years as a hairdresser at Cut N’ Curl and Watsons Freedom Hair before her retirement. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Lesa and Richard Brindle; grandchildren, Elizabeth Brindle Creed (Roy Byrd), Jennifer “Jenny” Brindle Canosa (Michael); great grandchildren, Chloe Creed and Wesson Creed; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Ronald Ray Stanley; her granddaughter, Misty Brindle Murray; her sisters, Nancy Stanley, Frances Southard, and Margie Dezern; and her brother, Harvey Chrismon. A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM, in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Tony White officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Stanley family.
