Mrs. Ellen Senter Marion Stewart, age 97, passed away January 3, 2026, in Sevierville Tennessee, under the compassionate care of Gentiva Hospice. Ellen lived in Sevierville for the past three years and will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Charles Ellis Marion at Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Ellen was born May 23, 1928, in Surry County to the late John Senter and the late Lula Mae Pace Senter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She also had a deep love for her cats and dogs, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout her life. Left to cherish her memories is her niece, Janice and Dioncio Cruz; her nephew, Johnny Lyle; great niece and husband, Shannon and Jeremiah Cockerham; and great-great nephews, Michael Haynes, and ShawMain Fleming and wife Haley, and Gavin Heath; and a host of other loving family members. In addition to her parents and her husband Charles, she was also preceded in death by her husband Roland Thomas Reece, Her husband Abraham Nelson Stewart; her sisters, Hattie Victoria Senter, Edna Pearl Lyle, Nellie Mae Senter, and Lucena Senter; and her brothers, Willie Senter and Kelly Senter. Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, in the Moody-Davis Chapel, with Rev. Butch Holder officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mood-Davis Funeral Service is respectfully serving the Stewart family.
