Ervin Randolph Goad, age 80, of Stuart, passed away at his home on Saturday, August, 22, 2026. He was born in Willis, VA on November 29, 1945 to the late Earlie and Kayoulah Marshall Goad. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Goad; two sisters, Mary Lou Lawless Dawson and Shelby Lawless; four brothers, Bob, Arwin, Lewis and Brainard Goad; one niece, Sue Goad; one nephew, Peanut Goad; one sister-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.

He enjoyed driving trucks for Burgess Trucking Company for 30 years, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ervin was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.

Mr. Goad is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Cassady Goad; his beloved dogs, Max, Potatoe and Maya; a daughter, Teresa Goad Clark; two sisters, Anna Mae Reed (Terry) and Carolyn Hogan (Joe); one brother, Clyde Goad (Janet); four grandchildren, Jonathan Scott (Brittany), Joshua Scott, Montana Inman (Garrett) and Cassady Inman; four great-grandchildren, Dixie and Silas Scott and Levi and Colter Rich; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Goad will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Shaun Draughn officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
