Mr. Ervin “Tony” Lassie Wimbish, age 72 of Stuart, Virginia passed away Friday, July 10, 2026, at Stuart Community Hospital. He was born in Henry County, Virginia on April 30, 1954, to the late Tony Wimbish and Hallie Lee Shelton Wimbish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Dale Wimbish. Tony enjoyed making people laugh, even on his hardest days. He loved his family dearly and truly enjoyed his grandchildren. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten.

Left to cherish the memories of Tony Wimbish are his wife of 50 years, Janice Clifton Wimbish; four children, Ervin Lassie Wimbish, Jr. (Donna) of Locust, NC, Anthony Wimbish (Janet) of High Point, NC, Andy Wimbish of Asheville, NC, and Amber Wimbish (Brandon) of Stuart, VA; six grandchildren, Lauren, Colt, Camden, Nylah, Pepper, and Poppy; three great-grandchildren; three siblings, Russell Dale Wimbish of Patrick Springs, VA, Rachel Spaulding of Martinsville, VA, and Robert Wimbish (Karen) of Patrick Springs, VA; several nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Bentley.
