Esther Faye Lovill Haynes

Mrs. Esther Faye Lovill Haynes, age 71, of Cana, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at her home with her husband by her side. She was born on May 27, 1954 in Carroll County to the late Conley and Dorothy Ogle Lovill. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Larry Haynes; daughter, Delta Edwards (Tony); grandchild, Elijah Edwards (Audrey); sisters, Margaret Ayers (Mason), Rhonda Smith (Mike); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Linda Arrington (Rex), Ronald Haynes, Gail Haynes; aunt, Betty Old; special friends, Wanda Oakley, Penny Easter as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by a brother, James Lovill. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Rev. Dennis Bledsoe. Burial will follow in Flat Ridge Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time for the service at the funeral home.
