Ethel Mae Moore Marshall

Mrs. Ethel Mae Moore Marshall passed away Monday, September 6, 2010, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mrs. Marshall was born August 7, 1931, in Surry County, to the late Ernest and Elizabeth Byrd Moore. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and retired from Spencer's Inc. Mrs. Marshall is survived by her husband, Carl W. Marshall of the home; two brothers, Jack Moore and Wesley Moore, both of Mount Airy; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at White Plains Friends Meeting Cemetery by the Rev. Wayburn Mosley. The family will receive friends at Moody Funral Home in Mount Airy on Wednesday from noon until the time to depart to the cemetery.
