Eugene Everett Quesinberry

Mr. E. Everett Quesinberry age 90, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away on Friday September 16, 2016 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Ararat, Virginia on June 10, 1926 to the late Bryant & Ernie (Marshall) Quesinberry. Mr Quesinberry was preceded in death, by one daughter, Diane and one great grand-daughter Marlow Lucht.

He is survived by a daughter Sandra Redenz of Chesapeake, two sons Stephen (Debra) Quesinberry of Henrico, Va. and Daniel Quesinberry of Conway, SC. Also surviving is one brother Bobby Quesinberry of Clemmons, N.C.; one aunt, Mabel Thompson, of Mt. Airy, NC.; three grand-children and five great grand-children. He is also survived by one special friend, Betty Lou Harrell, who took care of him for many years until his death.
Mr. Quesinberry was a World War II Veteran of U.S. Merchant Marines. He retired from the Norfolk Police Department at the rank of Captain.
A grave-side service will be conducted at the Doe Run Baptist Church in Ararat, Virginia at 11:00AM on Wednesday September 21, 2016. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Tuesday evening from 4:30PM. – 7:30 P.M.
