Eunice Lee Love

Mrs. Eunice Lee Anderson Love, 97, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at her home.  She was born in Patrick County on February 17, 1926, to the late Lee and Betty Cox Anderson.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  She is survived by a daughter, Linda Love Simmons; grandsons, Alton Simmons, Andy Simmons; great grandchildren, Jade Simmons, Logan Simmons, Justin Simmons, Jarrett Simmons, Ethan and Bailey Simmons; great great grandchildren, Conner Simmons, Ava Simmons, Jaxon Haynes, Sophie Simmons, Memphis Simmons, McCoy Simmons, and Hayes Simmons on the way; a brother, Roland and Charlotte Anderson; nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her husband, Hersie Edward Love; a son-in-law, Alton Wade Simmons, Sr.  A funeral service will be held Monday, June 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Bledsoe officiating.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
