Eva Louise Frazier

          Mrs. Eva Louise Belcher Frazier, age 82, of Meadows of Dan, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Floyd County on November 29, 1936 to the late Thomas Henry Belcher and Della Bolt Belcher.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Prentiss Dillard Frazier, Sr.; and a brother, Paul Belcher.  Mrs. Frazier had worked as a cafeteria manager with the public school system for 35 years and she was a member of Harris Chapel United Methodist Church.  She was a charter member of the Mountain Top Quilters and the Meadows of Dan Senior Exercise Group.  She was a mother to everyone.

          Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and Kenneth Boyd of Meadows of Dan, Marie McHone of Pilot Mountain, NC, Jeannie and David Belcher of Meadows of Dan; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Janeen Frazier of Dobson, NC, Dillard and Pam Frazier of Meadows of Dan, Allen and Tammy Frazier of Meadows of Dan; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Cruise of Bassett, Mable and Doug Puckett of Collinsville, Clara and Otis Puckett of Meadows of Dan, Connie Sue Nester of Meadows of Dan; one brother and sister-in-law, James Weldon and Mary Belcher of Meadows of Dan; and several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Marcus Wood officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bowling-Frazier Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Vesta Rescue Squad, P.O.
