Evan Alexander Burcham

Mr. Evan Alexander Burcham, age 23, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at his grandparents’ home. He was born on September 21, 2001 in Forsyth County to Sean Burcham and Julie Jones Gillett. Evan was loved by his family and all who knew him. Evan also loved his dog, Rebel. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Sean Burcham; mother, Julie Gillett (Chris); stepbrother, Christian Gillett; paternal grandparents, Nelson Evans (Kathy), Bill Burcham; maternal grandparents, Clarence Jones (Joann); great-grandmother, Ina Haynes; Uncle, Faron Jones; great uncle, Morris Haynes (Deborah), Nathan Haynes; special cousins, Miranda Brown and Tiffany Drumheller. Mr. Burcham was preceded in death by a special cousin, Matthew Jones. A funeral service will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Rev. Adam Trent. A Private burial for family will take place in Jones -King Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 PM until the time for the service at the funeral home.
