Faye Reeves (Whitaker) Fowler

Mrs. Faye Reeves Whitaker Fowler, age 81, of Siloam, passed away on early Saturday morning, December 9, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family.  Mrs. Fowler was born June 2, 1942, in Surry County to the late Wiley and Mabel Reeves Whitaker.  Faye was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed.  Surviving is her special niece, Amy Puckett-Lawson; her sister, Joyce Whitaker Dobbins; her brother, Arnold Whitaker; along with several other loving nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Earnest Fowler; two sisters, Bertha Whitaker Billings, Betty Whitaker Wilson; and three brothers, Roger Whitaker, Bobby Whitaker, Calvin Whitaker.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Pine Hill Church in Ararat, North Carolina with Reverend Scott Coalson and Reverend Tommy Nichols officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Pine Hill Church from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.  Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 1427 Edgewood Drive, Suite 101, Mount Airy, North Carolina 27030.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
