Foy (Junior) McPeak

Mr. Foy (Junior) McPeak age 86 of Mt. Airy, NC. passed away Friday June 27, 2014 at his home. Mr. McPeak was born January 24, 1928 in Surry County to William Bennett and Lina Easter McPeak, he was a veteran of the US AirForce serving during WWII and was retired from Cross Creek Apparel Co. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Paul Rowell of Lugoff, SC and Alisa and George Yannopoulos of Winston Salem, three grandchildren Nancy Lamontagne and her husband Paul of Carrboro, NC, Timothy Rowell of Garner, NC and Nicholas Yannopoulos of Winston Salem, two sisters-in-law Edith McPeak of Mt. Airy and Elsie McPeak of Alabama, one niece Patsy Carter and by four nephews Benny McPeak, David McPeak, Charlie McPeak and Robert McPeak. In addition to his parents Mr. McPeak was preceded in death by his wife Almedia McPeak and by two brothers Glenn McPeak and Raymond McPeak and a sister Virginia McPeak. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 1, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by the Grandchildren of Mr. McPeak. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
