Foye Lee Lowe Cockerham

Mrs. Foye Lee Cockerham, age 85, of King, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 22, 1941 in Surry County to the late Loyal Raybon Lowe and Rose Emma Crouse Lowe. Mrs. Cockerham retired from R.J. Reynolds after 23 years of service. Prior to her working at the tobacco company, she had driven a school bus for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools where she drove for 4 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kathy Stikeleather (Kevin), Denise Cockerham (Tim), Rhonda Beaver; Jason Lowe (Zoe Brinkle); grandchildren, Caleb Anderson (Carrie), Cody Beaver, Ally Lowe, Ethan Lowe, and Koda Stikeleather; great-grandchildren, Bella Poplin, Creece Anderson, and Coulee Anderson; sister, Ida Lee Holt; brother, Foster Lee Lowe. In addition to her parents Mrs. Cockerham was preceded in death by a son, Randy Paul Cockerham, son-in-law, Steve Beaver; sister, Ima Lee Johnson. There will be no formal service at the funeral home at this time. However, the family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 2pm – 4pm at the home of Mrs. Cockerham.
