Frances Arretta Pruitt

Ms. Frances Arretta Franklin Pruitt (Fran), 60, of Mount Airy NC, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Ms. Pruitt was born June 20, 1963 in Surry County to the late Shade Mcgee Franklin & Mary Easter Franklin. To know Fran was to love Fran. A selfless soul with everlasting faith and forgiving heart. Her infectious smile brought joy to everyone who knew her & will forever be in our memories. Though she may be physically absent, her love & influence will continue to shape our lives for the better. We will forever cherish the precious moments we shared. Her legacy of kindness, faith and forgiveness will forever shine. She was survived by her two daughters, Sara Daus and Breanna Pruitt; sisters, Barbara Money, Sherri Lyons and Freddie. A special niece, Shasta Franklin. And the ones who will miss her the most, her precious grandchildren, Maya Faith, Carter Lee, Shade Maddox and Everleigh Claire. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shade & Mary Franklin, her oldest sister, Sandra Hiatt and her twin brother, Lewis Franklin. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Fisher River Park in Dobson, NC from 6pm-8pm.
