Frances Irene Woods

Miss Frances Irene Woods, age 76, of Cana, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her home.  She was born on March 28, 1947 in Carroll County to the late Emmett and Bell Edwards Woods. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Audrey, and Sandra Woods, Rushie Fauland; several nieces and nephews.  Miss Woods was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Bell Edwards Woods, sisters, Kathleen, Maxine, and Brenda Edwards; brothers, Junior, Rudy, Sonny, Franklin, and Doug Woods, Rev. Eugene Edwards.  A funeral service will be held on Monday January 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Keith Edwards.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.
