Frank Christian Schenck

Mr. Frank Christian Schenck, 72, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born July 18, 1937, in Newark, NJ, to the late August and Ethel Nelson Schenck. He retired from the Excel Corporation and was a member of the Elks Lodge in Rahway, NJ. Mr. Schenck was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Mary Margaret Bolger Schenck of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Brian Covino of Avenel, NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, Frank C. Schenck, Jr. and Cheryl of Winfield Park, NJ; and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Covino and Stephanie Covino. A visitation will be held Friday, January 29, 2010, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 312 North Eugene Street, Suite D, Greensboro, NC 27401.
