Mr. Freddie Harold Myers, age 80, of Mount Airy passed away early Saturday morning September 7, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem. Mr. Myers was born in Erbacon, West Virginia on January 27, 1944, to the late Marie Perkins Myers and Richard Thirl Myers. He was a loving husband, father, proud grandfather and friend, he’ll be deeply missed by all that knew him. Mr. Myers proudly served our country in the US Army for 12 years and was a retired electrician. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Beverly Perrine Myers of the home; daughters and sons-in-laws, Sheilla Turner and Ray, Nikki Bullis and Bud; sons and daughters-in-laws, Shawn Myers and Cara, Freddie J. Myers and Kerri; 12 wonderful grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Sylvia Simms, Iddress Reece and Jerry; brothers and sister-in-law, Joe Myers and Charlotte. In addition to his parents, Mr. Myers was preceded in death by sisters, Pearl Cogar, Juanita Morrison; brothers, Coleman Myers, Charlie Myers. A celebration of Mr. Myers life will be held Monday, September 9, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Amazing Grace Baptist Church with the Adam Myers and Dr. Jonathan Barker officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Freddie J. Myers PO Box 1778 Mount Airy, North Carolina, to help with funeral expenses. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Myers family.
