Gary Eugene Hall

Mr. Gary Eugene Hall, age 85, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Hall was born in Surry County, July 7, 1932 to the late Thomas Leonard Hall and Doris Agnes Monday Hall. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church. Mr. Hall proudly served our country in the US Army. Left to cherish his memory are a brother, Phil Hall; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Lou White Hall; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara Alice Hall, and Mary Hall Martin and husband Lewis Avent Martin; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Carroll Leo Hall and wife Violet Hall, and Virginia Hall. A funeral Mass will be conducted on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Lawrence W. Heiney officiating. Entombment will follow in the Skyline Memory Garden Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Friday night, December 8, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
