Gary Dale Inman

Mr. Gary Dale Inman age 64 of 234 Inman Road, Mt. Airy, NC passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Joan and Howard Woltz hospice Home. He was born January 20, 1949 in Surry County, NC to Myrtle Hiatt Inman and the late Clarence Bill Inman. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama, having retired from the Hanes Corporation. Mr. Inman was a member of the Pilot Mountain Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Aaron Pardue, East Bend, a son and daughter-in-law, Jayme and Vickie Inman, Cana, VA, three grandchildren, Nicholas Inman, Cana, VA, Ashley Pardue and Austin Pardue, East Bend, mother, Myrtle Hiatt Inman, Mt. Airy, a sister and brother-in-law, Dana I. and Buck Goins, Mt. Airy, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwain and Stella Inman, Mt. Airy, Kevin and Jennifer Inman, Hickory, former wife and friend, Bonita Smoot, Mt. Airy, numerous nieces and nephews, and a "special canine companion", Mollie. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at Moody Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017. The family would like to express a "special thanks" to family, friends and staff of the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home for the care extended to Mr. Inman during his illness.
