Geneva Bledsoe Bullin Mabe joined her Heavenly Father and loved ones on\Friday, October 30, 2026.
Geneva was born on May 31,1930 to the late Tommy Preston Bledsoe and
Anna Edmonds Bledsoe. She was also preceded in death by her beloved
grandson, Jason Huffman, her husband, Howard Bullin and all of her dear
brothers and sisters: Roger(Betty)Bledsoe, Monroe(Vera)Bledsoe,
Pansy(Joel)Moore, Vera Smitherman, Mae(Ellis)Crissman and several dear
nieces and nephews. She is survived by her loving children: Her daughter,
Rebecca and Lloyd Huffman and her son, Tim and Tammy Mabe.
Grandchildren: Hannah and Todd Price, Nathan Holyfield and Ashlee
Boyd. Great-Grandchildren: Cooper and Boone Price. She is also survived
by many precious nieces, nephews and special friend, Peggy Simpson.
Geneva was a graduate of Copeland High School, and a retiree from
Tultex(Washington Mills)after 39 years of service. She was a life-long
active member and Sunday School teacher at the church she loved New
Home Church of Christ. She also helped organize the Copeland Senior
Citizens. She was one of the first Copeland “Lady Ruritans”, a member of
the Siloam Extension Homemakers and a big Carolina Tarheel fan. Geneva
was an avid quilter, who also loved to garden, can and cook. We had many
wonderful meals at her table. Geneva was the most loved matriarch of our
family. She loved us all; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and we in
turn loved her the same. She wanted us to visit and sit on her porch - we
were surrounded by flowers, lively conversation and we made memories.
When asked what mattered most in this life, her answers were: her faith
and her family. She has left us much to treasure. We rejoice in knowing
she is sitting at the feet of Jesus.
The family wishes to express special love and gratitude to Doris Bledsoe
and Anita Southard for their gentle loving care and compassion toward our
Mother.
The service will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at New Home Church of Christ: 186 New Home
