Gilbert "Buster" Price

Mr. Gilbert B. (Buster) Price Jr., age 85 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. He was born in Skippers, Virginia to Gilbert B. Price Sr. and Iva Vault Price. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Helen Price and several siblings.

Mr. Gilbert was retired from the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by one son, Tracy R. Price of Stuart; one grandson, Scott Gilbert Price of Gate City, VA; and one brother Gary Price of Pearisburg, VA.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 1:30 at Patrick Memorial Gardens. Military rites provided by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.
